Personal Kanban Webinar
Personal Kanban Webinar
This video is from a live webinar the Action Mill presented on Jan. 16th 2013. Personal Kanban is a simple work management system. Adapted from Just In Time manufacturing and Agile software development methods by Jim Benson and Tonianne DeMaria Barry, Personal Kanban is a tool that the Action Mill uses every day to manage our work. In this webinar, we’ll teach you the principles behind kanban, and how to prototype your own kanban to organize your personal or work tasks.
At the end of this webinar, you’ll have your first Personal Kanban ready to use to manage your work more effectively.
You’ll need the following materials to build your Personal Kanban:
- a pad of post-it notes
- a sharpie
- some masking tape
- a lot of space on a wall or table near your computer
- any current to do or task lists (optional)
This video has been edited for time, so when the presenter gives participants time to assemble their kanbans, you should pause the video.
